Python Job: Coding Instructor - Uni Students in IT courses

We are a start-up looking to make a positive impact on Australia kids. Our staff work hard to create a unique and engaging learning experience for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic staff.

What we do:

Headstart Skills is a company that offers school holiday and after school coding classes to kids aged 5-12yrs. We provide teachers with the resources and tools to teach the new digital curriculum to primary and secondary students.

Looking for individuals who are:

• Great at communicating with kids
• Keen to learn about new technology
• Passionate about mentoring kids, building their knowledge and confidence
• Trustworthy and reliable

Skills:

Whilst we don’t require a specific degree, candidates should have some the following experience (or similar):

• Enjoy working with kids and have a vibrant and enthusiastic can do attitude.
• Currently completing, or have completed your tertiary studies
• Mature outlook and common sense
• Work well in a team environment
• Be able to take initiative when working unsupervised
• Fluent conversational English

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Apprenticeship, Graduate
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Salary: $24.00 – $34.00 per hour
